NOTICE TO ALL OUR VISITORS AT YARDENIT
The water at the Baptismal Site of Yardenit is clean and of the same high quality as the water in the Kinneret (The Sea of Galilee). Please note that it is safe to immerse oneself in the water which is constantly checked by the National Health and Water Authorities of Israel.
Dear fellow Pilgrims,
We have an official signed letter from the State of Israel, National Water Commission stating:
The quality of the water at this section of the Jordan River is identical to the quality of the water in the Sea of Galilee. The quality of the water is of a high enough standard for immersion.The water is constantly checked by the Inspectors of the Ministry of Health and the National Water Commission.
